GF-Hatchery™ and Gårdsfisk® are pioneers in aquaculture in Sweden. Our mission is to distribute African Catfish fingerlings and fry worldwide in order to reduce the impact of wild fisheries and help protect our oceans. We supply our farming company, Gårdsfisk®, with high-quality fingerlings to meet the national demand for table-sized fish.

Breeding of our Nile tilapia is currently on hold.
We don't just breed fish, we farm them.
GF-Hatchery™ operates as part of a full-scale aquaculture system, where every batch of fry and every broodstock line is continuously validated in real farming conditions at Gårdsfisk.
In addition, we run an in-house selective breeding program that improves key traits such as growth, survival, robustness, and feed efficiency. This ensures our fish are genetically strong, high-performing, and adapted to modern production systems.
